Comfort Club Embraces Love’s Uncertainty in “I Think I Love You”

Los Angeles-based artist Comfort Club receives praise for effortlessly pairing his delicate, butter-smooth vocals with classic indie-pop instrumentation. Embodying authenticity through each song in his discography, Comfort Club produces simultaneously heartbreaking and uplifting pieces that perfectly reflect the human experience.

His latest release, “I Think I Love You," is no exception, serving as the introductory single to his upcoming album and drawing inspiration from John Mayer’s “New Light” and The 1975’s “I’m In Love With You.” The chorus beautifully encapsulates the moment of uncomfortable anticipation between feeling love and finding the courage to confess it:

“I think I love you

I think I love you

Don’t wanna jinx it

Or overthink it til it’s true

I think I love you

Maybe more than a little

I think I love you

Can we meet in the middle

I try to pace it

Don’t wanna say it, but I do

I think I love you.”

Comfort Club explained that after touring his debut album across the United States, he felt as though he was still missing a “fun sing-along song”. Co-written with fellow artist KnownAsNat and entirely self-produced, “I Think I Love You” is a seamless blend of Comfort Club’s classic vocals and mellow instrumentation, with the perfectly sing-along-able lyrics he was searching for.

On February 14th, Comfort Club will be playing a show at Permanent Records Roadhouse in Los Angeles, California, alongside artist Adam Casanova, to celebrate the release of “I Think I Love You”. Tickets are available to purchase online for $10.
